Project Goals
Build a new $9.3 Million Central Library Facility for the Chicopee Public Library
Outcome
The building of the Emily L. Partyka Central Branch of the Chicopee Public Library was a result of a public-private partnership involving state and local government sources and the private support of the Friends of The Chicopee Public Library. FDA served as fund raising counsel throughout the campaign, which secured nearly $3 million in state grant funding as well as more than $2.5 million in private support. When the project budget increased, FDA successfully re-tooled the campaign to raise the higher amount needed.
