Project Goals
Modernize and Expand the 160 Year Old ABC House
Outcome
FDA designed and implemented a community-wide, major gifts-oriented campaign to raise the resources necessary to expand the program's facility. Within 18 months, the campaign raised nearly $400,000, allowing ABC to expand and renovate its residence. Now the ABC house is a modern, family-oriented building that comfortably houses 8 teen scholars as well as the family of the resident directors. As a result of the campaign, ABC's annual fund raising capacity has also expanded, enabling the organization to meet rising operating costs.
